The first international wine fair in continental China will take place in Shanghai between the 25th and the 27th of June 2009. The whole wine world is expected to attend Top Wine China, the not-to-be-missed event of the booming Chinese market. Wine consumption should grow in China by 70 % over the next three years according to forecasts, which would mean a mere 11 million of hectoliters of wine consumed in China in 2011. By then, China would be the 8th wine-consuming country in the world.
