Established in 1995, BYD was listed on stock exchange of Hong Kong in 2002. For now, BYD specializes in both of the automobile industry and IT parts with an employment over 130 thousand.

At present, BYD IT products have covered all aspects of handset parts business and assembly business and been a world leading rechargeable battery manufacturer. We win the Top one market share in global cell phone battery market and were awarded as “Excellent Supplier” by Nokia and Motorola.

BYD Auto Company was established in 2003. Our auto products involve both gasoline and electric vehicles. BYD brand has grown up to be one of the most innovative brands in China. Ever since the launch of our first car model F3 in 2005, the sales have reached 200,000 units till now and the sales volume is still increasing.

On the Detroit Auto Exhibition just rang down the curtain in Jan. 2008 and Geneva International Auto Show, Our DM (Duo Model, powered by both engine and battery) vehicles and EV(electronic vehicles) models won widely satisfaction and recognition of the local American and European dealers. Our DM system was closely concerned by some international auto tycoons such as TOYOTA and General Motors Corporation etc.

The DM and EV models are planed to launch into market at the end of this year. E6, our EV model vehicle, has great advantage in technology with continuous driving mileage over 400Km, which is far over the other brands new energy cars, such as TOYOTA. Charging to the EV models can be done with various external power sources. Zero emission of EV vehicles shall make great contribution to the environment protection.
