According to statistics of MOFCOM, China’s non-financial direct overseas investment was US$6.92bln, up by 25.8% on a year-on-year basis. Out of which equity investment was US$4.07bln, constituted 58.5%, up by 53.6% of the same period previous year; profit reinvestment was US$2.85bln (predicted according to Annual Report 2004), constituted 41.2%, the same of previous year. There were 1067 overseas medium-sized Chinese enterprises approved and recorded by MOFCOM in 2005, agreed investment value of Chinese party amounted to US$6.954bln, up by 87.3% year-on-year.
