There are 53 ethnical groups living in the province, and the population of the minority ethnical groups accounts for only 0.7 percent .The main minority ethnical groups are Zhuang, Yao, She, Hui and Manchu.

Guangdong has the semi-tropical climate,which makes it warm and wet through all year. Summer can be sweltering hot and wet. Its annual temperature averages 19C - 26C. So the best time for travelers to Guangdong is in spring and autumn.
