Jiangxi Province is in the southeastern part part of China, to the south of the middle-lower reaches of the Yangzte River. And it is named for being situated west of the Ganjiang River,with a lot of famous products-- china, tealeaves from Lushan Mountain,porcelain pictures ,etc.

Climate
Jiangxi has a sub-tropical monsoonal climate, warm and humid. The annual average temperature is around 18° C.Usually plum rain comes in spring and rainstorm coming in summer.

Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province ,is a time-honored city with revolutionary traditions in southern China,and one of the hottest cities in China.
Tengwang Pavilion is located just west of Nanchang and is one of three famous pavilions south of the Yangtze River. Fame attained in Tang Dynasty because of the noted poet Wangbo wroting an article about it.

Mount Lushan has been listed as a World Heritage site by the UNESCO.It is noted for its scenic beauty and as a famous summer resort.The mountain boasts in its mighty peaks,roaring waterfalls, mysterious cloudsand mists,philosophical religions, the ancient academy ranked first in china, numerous remains of ice age and many western-styled villas.

Another particularly attractive is Poyang Lake, which is not only the biggest fresh water lake in China, but also the largest winter habitat for white cranes.
Sanqing and Longhu mountains in the northeast of the province are considered holy places of Taoism, an indigenous Chinese religion.

People in Jiangxi like eating spicy foods,and those who live near Poyang Lake love eating fish very much,this makes freshwater fish banquets as the characteristics of jiangxi cuisine.Famous dishes are Crunchy candy, stone fish, rock tripe, and chukar, etc.
In addition, Jiangxi is one of the ancient tea-producing areas in China. The Black Tea produced in Ningzhou City and the Green Tea produced in Wuyuan City are well-known throughout China.
