 Ethnic Minority Groups
There are about 35 ethical groups living in Heilongjiang. Among them the most characteristic ethical groups are Hezhe fishermen, Ewenki Hunters and Daur ethnical group, who raises mainly cattles. Their life styles are very different from each others.

Climate
Heilongjiang has a cold-temperate continental climate . Winters are long,dry and frigid,with an average of －31 to －15 °C in January, and summers are short and cool with an average of 18 to 23 °C in July.
